We try to emphasis to our kids that the practice exams are just that, practice for the real thing.
By the time kids are in Year 9, their teachers should be giving them the “learning outcomes” for the topic they are on.
Exam time is looming in New Zealand. It starts with “mocks” then then real thing. Our house is awash with post it notes, highlighted note pages, flash cards and practice tests… whatever works is our philosophy.
